[Review by Seven] The last PAiN of the year, and the last one with Fred as a main editor.
They haven't found a new one for the next issue, it seems. The engine has once
again improved: now it does work in a windows dosbox, but still I can't get the
music working. The menu is now shown in the middle of the screen instead of
near the bottom, and pressing up or down immediately selects a new article, not
requiring an extra enter anymore. The categories have been changed to: Pain as
a lifestyle (editorial, credits etc), Charts and polls (with the very first
international charts), News & Rumours, Articles, and References (BBS list, link
list etc). The article section is well-filled, 11 articles with varying topics
ranging from the new Swiss scene server and the death of bitmap art, over why
ATI and slow websites suck, to anti-commercial revolutions and the existence of
god. A great issue to end the year with! (Oh yeah, the title screen shows the
PAiN-snowman with a santa claus hat :))
