[Review by Seven] PAiN starts the new year with a bang: 26 articles, including all the
regulars such as charts, top downloads, swiss releases, email and BBS list
etc. The impact of the internet is visible in the new "links" list, which
points to demoscene websites. Lots of twin articles: two new Pain compos are
announced, a size-optimized coding compo and an ugly website contest, the Party
7 is criticized for the power failures and bad organizing in 2 reports, and
there are 2 different poems both titled "***K the millenium". It's always funny
to read certain articles with 20/20 hindsight, such as the IRC log about
Win95 and 3D-cards, and Chaos article about the same subject.
The music for this issue sounds like a simplistic game-tune, not really bad but
not good enough to keep looping while reading the whole mag.
